The Montessori method is  a child-focused approach designed to create natural opportunities for independence, citizenship and accountability.

Children embrace multi-sensory learning and passionate inquiry. Individual students follow their own curiosity at their own pace, taking the time they need to fully understand each concept and meet individualized learning goals.

Enrollment is open throughout the year and can be completed in just a few weeks.

The first step towards starting your journey at MFA is to schedule a tour to meet us. In order to see the children in action and actively engaging  with the Montessori curriculum.

​Both parents are encouraged to tour the school in order to address any questions and to gain the greatest benefit from your individualized time with the school administrator.

Children are welcome to tour the school with their parents!! 

Once parents have completed the school tour and have selected My First Academy for their child, the child is scheduled for an interview with the classroom teacher. The interview will vary in length from 30 minutes to a few hours depending on the age of your child and must be completed prior to enrollment.

The teacher will spend one-on-one classroom time with the child during the interview and will consult with the parents and school administration within 24 hours after the conclusion of the interview.​

Admittance to My First Academy depends upon current enrollment and does sometimes require a waiting list. Children on the waiting list are accepted on a first come first served basis. ​

Enrollment at MFA is open to children and families of any race, color, religion, sexual orientation and national or ethnic origin. We seek a diverse student body and family community in support of the mission, vision, and values of the school. We maintain an admissions process reflective of these goals.​

Infants: (8 weeks to 12 months) 4:1 ( 13  to 17 months):  6:1​

Toddlers: (18 to 35 months) 10:1​

Primary: (3 to 6 years) 15:1​

Yes, at My First Academy we offer a 10% tuition discount for the second child.​

Children younger than 4 years old are required to take a midday nap.​

My First Academy accepts CAPS and is partnered  with GASSO State Tax Credit programs to provide financial assistance. Please contact the school Administration for more information.
